In this weeks episode Kathleen from Plenty of Sunshine Travel met with Jennifer from Avalon Waterways. We discussed the Amazon, Ganges, Machu Picchu, Mekong and Galapagos itineraries.

These are amazing! By cruising with Avalon you not only get the river cruise experience but you get to do a land add-on with each of these cruises!

Personally, in my opinion, the best itinerary that we discussed is Machu Picchu.  The reason I think Machu Picchu is the best is because of the value you get with Avalon!

When you arrive you get to spend 1 night at the base of Machu Picchu! You stay in a hotel right there! You don’t need to stay far away then have to bus in. You are staying in the heart of the attraction! You also get 2 days of admission into this area to explore. Since your flight arrives early in the morning you have all day to explore.

How amazing! You do have a few flights with this itinerary but they are all included. So You get to see Iquitos, plus Lima and Cusco as well as Sacred Valley and of course the cruise in the Amazon!  What a dream vacation!!!

I love how Avalon combines so all the tours and land portions as well as the river cruise! Fabulous! I think I am ready to go! Are you? All you have to do is send me a message and this trip can be yours!

I also do a show notes  page on my website. Which has all the highlights and some of the pictures for you to see them better. as well as the Youtube video
